I'm looking at buying the CW2, but I can't decide on which screen size to go for. The options are 1366x768 or 1600x900.

My main use is for general internet and Photoshop. I will occasionally watch dvd's and online hd content but this wont be too often.

I've seen 15.6" with 1366x768 displays and they look ok to me. So I assume the 14" with 1366x768 would look the same but maybe a tad sharpen due to the smaller size?

My primary concerna about the 1600x900 is whether it would make text uncomfortably small to read on websites etc. Also when I'm using my graphics tablet in photoshop, some of the options are fiddly to select on my current laptop (13.3" 1280x800) and a 14" 1600x900 would make them even smaller?

I'd love input from you guys with a 14" 1600x900, and equally a 14" 1366x768. Especially those who do image editing on it!

    Thanks

I've got a CW2 with the 1366x768 screen. The only time I wish I had more pixels is when I'm working on Flash, as various toolbars take up most of the screen space. However, it isn't major, and the tiny icons on a 1600x900 14" screens would make it worse anyway (the 1366x768 14" has the same dpi as your current laptop). I'd recommend you save yourself some cash and save your eyesight while you're at it!

Nope 1600x900 is completely fine on 14" for most people. As you know, new Z comes even with FullHD on 13" and it doesn't seems to be an overkill for most ppl as well. Still it's better if you'll see it by yourself. 1366x768 is very lousy resolution and from my opinion it shouldn't be used on anything bigger than 11", if ever.

I bought the CW2 for my GF and it has the 1600 x 900 14" screen and I have found no issues reading any text. The only issue you might have reading is if you have bad vision to begin with :D
