    Yes this memory works fine, you have done your research well, the only thing that worries me is the fact that you are using a 32bit operating system. 4GB of ram is just a waste. If your computer has 1 2GB stick of ram in it like the one you are buying then you will see about 3.2GB of ram, this is the flaw of 32bit os's.

    Now if it has 2 iGB sticks of ram in it, which I know it does then your purchase of memory will be able to give you 3GB of ram, which is about as good as you can do in a 32bit os.

    So go on ahead if you think 1 GB of ram extra will really help you fly.

    ah ya, I got this laptop used, so I was going to upgrade to win 7 64 bit anyways, that's why I thought about upgrading the ram. Thanks for noticing :p
