This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi, I have been in touch with Sony Vaio Link about the uneven backlighting on my 8 month old Z21 notebook. They requested some photos, so I emailed them the following pictures. They have got back to me saying the screen is "within specifications" and there is nothing wrong with it.

    Do you think my screen is "within specifications"? Do you think I have a case to get the screen replaced?

    Any comments gratefully appreciated.
