I ordered my Z docking station back on August 6 with the understanding that it would include a power adaptor, as advertised. I did not open the box until today, when my Z 590 arrived. Of course, no power adaptor. I now see from the humongous "Z Owners" thread a comment regarding obtaining a power adaptor from Sony Style retroactively, for older orders. Today, the specs on the website have been changed so that the docking station is not shown with an adaptor. Before I call and get into a "he said she said" about what was on the website when I ordered back in August, I am wondering if anybody has a screen shot or printout from the prior specifications, which clearly inlcuded the power adaptor?
Many thanks!

Sorry I don't, but Sony knows about the problem and should honour their earlier advert even without the screenshot.

no dice. I spoke with 3 people all of whom looked at the parts list and told me the docking station was not supposed to come with an adaptor. So now I have to "prove" what their website said only a few days ago. It is a real bummer since between this and the tricked out Z590 I bought, I spent some serious coin. Now I have to prove I am not lying to them as to what I saw when I ordered it.

Here's your proof in two options:
A) Provide the following link to Sonystyle:
http://209.85.141.104/search?q=cach...6593+++site:sonystyle.com&hl=en&gl=us&strip=0
The link shows "Aug 27, 2008 08:15:08 GMT" at the top. Ensure you point this out when you talk to them. If you ordered on or before this date, then they should honor this.
B)Download this screen shot and show it to them:

Note: I noticed they now give you a kensington lock with it instead. So think about which one you want. Personally, I have heard bad things about the kensington combo locks..can be picked in just a few seconds. -
Fantastic! I will be watching for your info.

It's updated! Hope it helps.

Duke2007, thank you very much. Believe it or not, it took me 2 1/2 hours last night and today to get to the point where Sony agreed to give me the adapter I paid for. I am quite sure that, without the printout you provided, I would not have been successful. Thanks again. -- Son of 2 Duke Grads.
