    Any good places to find 1080p desktop backgrounds fo the 1600 x 900 resolution on the 590???

    Search for 1680x1050 backgrounds, that's a more common resolution without much cropping penalty for your screen. Sony has a bunch of their VAIO wallpapers in that resolution.
