Is there any advantage to using the installed intel wireless pro software for configuring wireless connections VS the built in windows management software in XP? I don't see the logic in having both running and want to delete the intel software unless it offers some advantage. Thanks in advance

I am running XP on Z690 with only Intel driver for wireless installed, no Intel management software, just built-in Wireless Zero Configuration service that XP provides (with WPA2 update, of course). Always preferred it that way.

Intel and Atheros software supports better diagnostics, integration of wireless login and Windows login. But I find both features not useful in day-to-day operations.
