    Hello...

I've got Z555DN, with a clean Vista Ultimate install (custom ISO with all integrated Sony drivers). Everything works perfectly, and I've also recently updated my BIOS to the latest available on the Sony support website.

However, I've had a recurring problem - basically, anytime after boot, if I've gone to battery power - at some point, it will just freeze - and I mean complete freeze, as in no HDD activity, etc. In some cases, it will be a black screen if I've closed the lid, or if I return to AC power, it will freeze - either immediately or sometime after plugging back in.

I've searched and seen that a couple of people have experienced freezing issues, but not specific like mine - if I boot up on AC and never leave AC, it doesn't freeze. But if I've gone to battery... then at some point either on battery or after returning to AC it will freeze - that's what I've been able to determine so far... does anybody have ideas? This is getting pretty irritating... I have no idea what could be causing the problem :(

did you check your power options settings while on battery? Try to keep them same as on AC, to see if it will keep freezing.
