    I am looking into buying a Z and when I search Ebay there are many models available. Is there a chronological list anywhere so I know I am getting the latest generation?

    VGN-Z (core2duo)

    VPC-Z1 or VPC-Z (i5/i7) and they come in flavors of Z1XX, Z12X, Z13X with Z13X being the latest and greatest

    and i guess the upcoming sandbridge one is VPC-Z2? but i dont think u can find them on ebay just yet?

    usually higher number indicates later model. Please note that there are different numbering scheme for US/Canada models and EU based models.

    I have first gen, VGN-Z590 (US numbering) which counterparts VGN-Z11VN (EU numbering).
