    Hello Sony Vaio Z owners,

Is your great laptop compatible x64 ?

I'm still waitting before buying a new one for that x64 feature, for the blue-ray and SSD possiblity and a better webcam in one Z model.

    Maybe one day ;)

    Thanks for your answers,

Well as far as I'm aware any new machine is in itself compatible with x64 in terms of hardware.

The only problem as has been mentioned on this forum before on other series is that Sony does not provide you with drivers/utilities for your laptop.

This means you may loose some functionality and have to find all your drivers yourself.
Maybe some x86 applications from Sony will work, but don't count on it.

(See the Vista 64 Bit threads on other models, there was one on the SZ somewhere...)
