Any news on the backward compatibility of the Z sheet battery ( Model number: VGP-BPSC27), with or without minor hacking?

I have a VPCZ1390X, and I'd love to switch to a standard+sheet configuration from the bulging battery I am currently using.

I assume by what he wrote that he has the extended battery. OP, that's the best you'll get - unless you find an external battery that outputs Z-compatible power. There are a couple on the market but none from anywhere near 'name' companies.
