I know this might have been mentioned b4 but I really donno how to search in a long Z official thread...
When I turn my Z into sleep, it seems so easy to be back on again if I put it into my cases. Everything looks fine if I just put it on the desk but it's always back ON when I take it from my suitcase.
And I also found it's always back on when I unplug the usb device from it when it's asleep, any way to fix this?
I dont think its the nVidia driver problem cuz I have re-installed it.

I guess our Z and probably all other laptops have 2 stages of power saver. First it goes to sleep and then shutdown or hibernate (power off completely).
When you just leave it in sleep mode and put in your case, it may be cause over heat problem. Usually, after sleeping for a specific time, system will goes on to shutdown or hibernate. For some reason, your laptop won't shutdown or hibernate, so you see it's on everytime you take it out of the case.

Choose whether you want hibernation or sleep in the power option. If you have them both turned on, then when your laptop is sleeping, it will first wake up, and then attempt to hibernate. Sometimes it is successful in entering hibernation after sleeping, but from my experience, one time failure is too many. My Z almost melted once in my case, when it woke up from sleep, and attempted to hibernate, but it glitched out, and didn't. So an hour later (thankfully only an hour), I took out my overheated laptop, and found the entire left half of the screen black from overheating, and the entire laptop almost too hot to handle.

I am not sure if its a Vista problem or Sony power management, but this is a serious glitch that needs to be addressed asap by Sony. Especially since by default, both sleep and hibernation are enabled.

As for the USB wakeup, that is quite normal to Vista.

However, you can modify the default settings. Start command prompt with administrative access, and type
    powercfg -devicequery wake_armed

That will list all the devices that are currently configured to wake up your laptop from sleep

If you want to change this default setting, then see which device you don't want to wake up your computer from sleep (i.e. HID-compliant mouse), and type:

    powercfg -devicedisablewake "device name"

And if you change your mind, you can re-enable using:

    powercfg -deviceenablewake "device name"

    I hope that helps.
