I tried searching with no luck.

Any way to by pass the "continue" window dialogue?

If I hit the button to undock I don't need 14 windows (exaggeration) to undock. Just disconnect so I can go!!

    :)

anyone read anything I might have missed?

    danke!

    Hello all,

I am also having the very same annoying problem...
I also tried searching this forum through Google for a solution (since the search function does not seem to work here).

The only partial solution I could find was to set the display back from the external monitor to the laptop (windows key + P ), and only then to press the disconnect button.
This is not a very good solutions because it means I still have to go back and open the laptop screen and then make sure the warning messages don't keep popping up etc.

Is there a good solution to this problem?

    Thank you!!

There are several types of messages that can pop-up when trying to undock. I assume you are talking about the one for the video driver. Typically that message means that an application is still using the external GPU. Or at least Windows still thinks that something is. I always close all applications before undocking and I rarely see the pop-up. When I do, there is usually a process that is still in memory. A browser instance that didn't close properly for example. Some browsers add-ins will use the GPU.

If closing all apps doesn't help, use Task Manager to track down and task-kill the most likely processes until you find out which is causing the pop-up.
