Tried it on my european Z and now I have no NVIDIA Card in the device manager. Just the Intel Card is working. (Win7 64B)

try using the speed mode you will see the NVIDIA card in device manager. and so by this upgrade, the brightness mode will work on NVIDIA for Win 7, amirite?

    From the Sony Website

I've bypassed the Model Check and uploaded it to my server. Please only download it if the previous drivers did not work, or if you do not know how to bypass the model check.

    Mine does not work

I have Z690 (Z3) using BIOS R2168M3, running Windows Server 2008 R2 x64, however the nVidia card does not work correctly with this driver. The desktop is folded into half size in horizontal direction... By the way I still don't see the brightness hotkey work (probably because i'm running server 08 r2, not win 7)

You can use Universal extractor software too which extracts the setup files.

For the people whose setup this is not working on, can you please post your Z-model and which OS (since I see some are using server '08 R2 instead)? not sure if I should try and install this on my Z590 running W7, the last nautilus driver i tried to install gave me no display so i had to roll back to the vista 7.15 drivers from Sony.

I have a z570. Installed the new graphics drivers. glad to have a more recent update, but other than that, brightness adjustment in speed mode still doesn't work. I am thinking its more of the Event Services problem than anything else now. Because when I installed the Event Services for Z820G, that's made for Windows 7 64bit, my brightness wouldn't work for either Speed or Stamina. So I reverted back to older Event Services, and lo, my brightness now works for Stamina, but not for speed.

So, definitely sounds like Event Service hasn't been tweaked for Windows 7 yet (either 32 bit or 64 bit).

Probably. I don't see why not, the Z hasn't seen any hardware changes since its inception, besides processors which are interchangeable.

Thank you, MegaMan, this is the only driver really working with my z590. I have tried the european version, posted here about a week ago, but it turned off my background on switching (everything else worked). This one works 100%. Great help! Thanks again!
