New Vaio Z owner with a VPC-Z116GX and I'm wondering if it is possible to add an additional SSD given my current configuration?

I'm looking at a slim 128GB SSD on ebay:
1-857-579-11 New Sony Vaio VPC-Z1 128GB Slim LIF SSD | eBay

According to Intel RST, I have two 128GB Samsung mmdpe56gqdxp-mvb in Raid 0. RST notes that these two SSD's occupy ports 1 and 2 (128 each). It also shows that ports 3 and 4 are open.

I have not opened the Z11 yet, but as a Vaio Z newbie, I wondered if I can add the slim SSD for a total of 384GB? Are the open 3 and 4 ports available to add a single or double sided SSD?

    Thanks in advance!!!

As far as I know, you should be able to use that SSD on eBay to get (2x128GB)+(1x128GB - eBay) to get a total storage space of 384GB. If you could source the same SSD model that you have now, I think you could get (2x128GB)+(2x128GB) for a total of 512GB.

However, for any of this to work you would need to purchase a different cable to connect your SSDs. The part is called FPC-209. ( information link)

All that said, I think it would be advisable for you do any more research you can before you make any decision.
