    I think it is the part of Led , but you can easily find this piece in the service manual.
    I disassembled the whole z laptop because i dropped it and had to replacce bottom case, palmrest.... and saw this piece when i removed the front switch and led lighting.

    its an led cover to defuse light.

    You removed three screws that weren't necessary. I know this because I did the same thing.

    This is where the clear plastic piece goes. It is a LED diffuser for the Cap/Number/function lock. If you take that part back off, you can slide it back in.
