When I shut down the Z11, windows complete its shut down sequence, but then the laptop will power cycle back on to the windows login screen. I also have my laptop set to go into hibernate mode when the Z11 lid is closed while on battery power. Same issue, the laptop attempts to go into hibernate mode, but immediately wakes back up and cycles back to the windows login screen. I’ve tried all kinds of scenarios but with now success, I even restored the laptop to factory settings! RMA time?

Does it even after restore? Before you add any applications? Been screwing around with anything in bios?

Yup, after I factory restored the laptop and with no application installed, the laptop still does not shut down or stay in hibernate mode. Haven't messed with any setting prior to this happening.

The only thing I could blame this on is setting the laptop down on top of a metal case that secures a DVR for my jobs security cameras. Maybe it picked up enough static charge to zap the Z! (This is when all this madness occurred)
