    This was the clearance price that Microsoft had the Z12 at until they ran out. So I guess the Z13 is now on clearance. Release to clearance in 3 months. Crazy.

    Well, its replacement is just around the corner, supposedly. Still, I hope that we see 40% off clearance like Z122 was, hopefully after Sony announced the replacement and I can decide whether to wait for the replacement or get Z133 on the cheap. :)

    Don't hold your breath on that one. The Z12 mega clearance was a combo for the $1499 clearance price and the 40% Microsoft anniversary discount. Add to that the $300 Tradeup and I think that made it a once in a lifetime opportunnity to get a $524 Sony Z.

    i admit that is one thing frustrating about the pc side of things vs apple, is resale, deals, and price watching :). Wll i am back to pc side with a vaio Z127 i just bought. As long as its current specs etc i don't really see what they do on these minor refreshes that warrants anyone to care. The only plus side is scoring a deal on an "older model" I found a guy locally with this Z127 34GB ssd and 6gb he let it go for $1500 (craigslist) and he was hurting for cash. Z is great on CL becuase most of the buyers don't know what it is and pass by at the high tag vs something apple. lets us that know get a deal got 2 Zs this route. By the way it was new in box, he opened to look at it never even booted it. I am happy
