I have tried unsuccessfully to load windows 7 64bit onto my z17 and every time it loads the 32 bit version.

I have tried changing the bios to later version that are shipped with 64bit operating systems without any luck.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get this working ??
    Thanks

How did you install the 64 bit version? Did you upgrade a 32 bit version?

Fresh install on newly installed hard drive, tried both with and without partition. Also then tried upgrading from the original hard drives 32bit vista and got the same results

It means you have a Windows 7 32bit DVD.
