Is there a way to fully *uninstall* the program responsible for all the mousepad "extras" ? Is "SynTPEnh" that program?

As always, in my experience, these perks just end up making the mouse more difficult to use for basic functions.

I am aware of the piece by piece "uncheckbox" in the advanced settings for the mouse, but can I for example just uninstall "SynTPEnh" program altogether? (assuming thats the program that handles all the mouse extras)

Either disable the features that bother you (it takes about 2 minutes to uncheck everything), or uninstall "Synpatics Touchpad Drivers" from Add/Remove Programs.

Tried option 1. Not only did some items get re-checked without me doing it, but the trackpad clearly still has issues, even with everything unchecked. Top right quadrant of the trackpad is almost useless sometimes. for swiping or clicking. Nuff's enough... thank you for the help.

Okay I uninstalled Synaptics. Unfortunately as it turns out, Windows apparently isn't familiar with 1920 resolution .... because I have my mouse pointer set to the fastest possible "speed" and I have to do four full swipes now to get the mouse from one side of the screen to the other. Its CLEARLY basing it on pixel distance movement, and since HD is so tiny pixelwise, it thinks its moving "lotsa pixels" but in fact my mouse is barely moving on the screen.

Now what? I could reinstall the software and have the original problems back. Or is there any way to speed up the mouse faster than windows is currently?
