    Hello,

I really like my z2 laptop, particularly it's 1600x900 screen. Originally I bought 1600x900 screen because it had higher contrast ratio in comparison to full HD screen. I was wondering if it will be a significant upgrade in terms of perceived screen sharpness to move to Z2 or svz13 with full HD screen. I would prefer even higher resolution but would like to have screen with semigloss screen and high color, similar to Z2. I am not a gamer but need to keep it ultraportable.

AFAIK the full HD screen is available in both glossy and non glossy variants. There is a thread that details how to replace the screen with the one of your choice. I have done this - I broke mine so I had to. If all you want to do is to change the screen, that might be a better way to go, rather than buying a whole new laptop. If you don't like the new screen, go back to the old one.

Good idea. So z2 screens are electrically interchangeable?
