    Hello -

I need to install software for my printer. I plugged Docking Station into the wall. Power is on. Computer recognizes it. I put in CD, it spins for a bit. Then nothing happens. I dont see the extra "DVD Drive" in my Windows Explorer either. Autorun on the disc doesnt seem to initiate anything either.

Please advise what I am doing wrong?

Okay just as an update. I coincidentally rebooted my system and now the drive is showing in Windows Explorer. Why do I need to reboot my computer for this stuff to register?

I'm not letting sony off the hook here, but all sorts of things happen in Windows and other software that require a reboot to fix. Just the way it is.

I think removing and reattaching the pmd would accomplish the same result, but yeah windows does weird stuff from time to time.
