    Z2 Skin Photos

    I got a leather-type skin from Ebay that comes with lid, palm rest and bezel coverage.

    I couldn't find a skin for the Z2's bottom so I was forced to make one using carbon sticker from a car shop.

    I know some might say skins defeat the Z2's elegance, but I really like the leather texture of this skin. Hopefully it lasts. I would have preferred the same coverage for the bottom but I couldn't find one. What is everybody else using? Post your photos here.

    Looks a bit weird around the keyboard, almost like you have a keyboard skin on there. Like the bottom carbon, the sheet looks a bit bland compared to my glossy carbon 15th anniversary edition, I won't be putting any stickers on my baby though :D

    Well, this is something I've been waiting for a while...I've ordered the carbon fiber skin from the ebay seller based in China, now let's just hope it will last some time...thanks for the pics!

    If I understand correctly, the keyboard silicone skin is what Sony is selling but only for other laptop series in pink, blue...

    Where did you buy yours?

    I wonder if it should fit for the Z3...

    Well, actually that's TPU keyboard skin. I've the same one. The brand is Cooskin. You can buy it from eBay.

    After all you went through to get this laptop, Norman (your name tag is on two pictures!) I'm so glad you're setting yourself up for years of great service. You did some great work on the skins. I'm really impressed with what you did for the bottom of the laptop; it looks custom cut. When you go to sell it, pull off the skins and it will look like it just came out of the box! BTW, you inspired me: I just bought a Z2 on eBay and I had already purchased the "black leather" skins for my Z13. Not sure about the bezel skin; can't really tell how it looks in your picture but I'm afraid it draws attention to the oversized bezel on the Z2. Also, I don't think the bezel is subject to wear or scratching. What's it like "in person."

    Again, congratulations on your great purchase! Use it in good health :)
