The local sony store currently has only LTE models available. However I'd be more interested in having a Gobi 3000 3G card due to a wider WCDMA/CDMA support.

    - Can I replace the Sierra MC7710 LTE with any Gobi 3000 3G card, or will just Sony licensed products be compatible? If so, where to find them?

    - Will the daughterboard holding the SIM card of the LTE modul fit the 3G card?

    - Does the replacement require any soldering?
