    Hello folks,

I have different brightness settings for battery (60%) and plugged in (90%). I had to install Microsoft hotfix to resolve this brightness issue (after restarting on battery power settings for plugged in would revert to battery level 60%/60%... this is all fine now.

    My problem is something else:
If I change brightness via Fn keys during Windows session, that new brightness level is automatically saved in Power plan. I don't want to do this.

With VGN-Z, I could put brightness to 100% (via Fn keys), but upon restart it would be again 60% (on battery). Not the case with Z2.

One other weird issue I have noticed, strange incremental battery levels: 76%, 82%, 88%... not 10% changes like 60,70,80%

Do you have such issues with your Z2? Any idea?

    Cheers,
    Miki

That would seem to indicate that there are 16 brightness levels instead of just 10.

true, but why not making it like with sound level (5% incremental change). Kinda weird to say I'm using 88% brightness level :) Minor annoyance, but not even close to my real problem as described above.

    Cheers,
    Miki
