The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Z2: PMD can't be ejected after creating recovery disks?

    I haven't used the PMD much, but today I used it to create recovery disks and when the app was finished I tried to eject it and was told that it was still in use.

    Pretty useless...I had to do a complete restart. Has anyone run into this?

    Not here.

    Remember that most web browsers have GPU acceleration now. The autoswitcher will complain if any are open.
