    Hi Guys

I have a z21 with Battery care on, i understand that this make my battery rum better but does not give me a full charge thus reducing my running time on battery.

I'm have a long flight 2moro and woundering how I can configure my laptop to run the longest so i can use my latop as much as possible.

Is there a setting or somthing i can do to get the most run time.

Currently i have turned off the care function and my battery says its got its got 2.30mins left, not what i expected really.

Any help would be good please

easzyrog, i don't know if this is going to be helpful to you now.
Make sure you set the battery function at 100% and disable it.
Some of these notebooks did seem to suffer from a problem with inaccurate times being displayed.

Use power saver, Vaio Maximum battery or Vaio Ultimate and just lower your brightness. I think that the Vaio Ultimate setting will disable your dvd drive automatically. This will also help you to conserve battery life.

If you're going to be websurfing you could also disable Aero and install a flash block and no script.

There is no Vaio Ultimate settings in the Power Management of Z series, although it was in the SZ series.
@eazyrog: Did you try in speed mode or Stamina mode?
