    Hello,
My Z21 finally broke, I suspect with help of my younger child. I found the laptop on the floor and it's now turns itself off after a minute or two, even if it booted to bios only. Is there anything I can try? I will pay for it to be fixed but not sure if I can trust local mom and pop repair shop. Thanks!

Perhaps it's overheating and shutting itself off to protect itself. Check the fans / heat sink stuff.

Yeah. A hard knock like that often unseats the heatsink and/or jams the fan. You're lucky. I've broken my screen - TWICE - and the power jack. I'm such a klutz. I'm delaying buying a new screen as self imposed punishment.
