There is wireless N on your notebook. Check to see which WiFi Link card you have. Draft N and 'N' is different.

    Hi

I own a Vaio TT (with Intel WifiLink 5100 A/G/N card) and a Linksys WRT300N v2 router (draft N). Unfortunately, wireless "N" doesn't work. They connect in "G". I have tried everything (drivers upgrade, change Windows wireless settings, change security settings (none, WEP, WPA,...).

I'm now waiting for a true 802.11n standard (Draft "N" interconnection is so bad....)

Either your adapter or your router is not set up right. I have an Intel 4965agn (5100 is even newer) on my UX and I have no problem seeing/connecting my Linksys WRT610n 2.4ghz/5ghz N router.
