I'm tired of getting that buzz zap. Are there any grounded AC adapters from Sony?

Anyone else not like the feeling?

Yeah it's not really that bad but I don't think it shouldn't be happening. I have it on my carbon palmrest as well and now on the metallic portions of my FZ. Anyone have any solution?

I've noticed a buzz sensation on the palmrest, but it seems to be only mechanical vibration when the DVD drive is spinning a disc.

There was a thread a while back discussing this issue. Sony shipped a 3 prong AC Adapter free of charge to whoever complained.

I definitely feel it sometimes, but I don't think it's anything to do with the AC adapter or optical drive.

I've noticed the buzz sensation too, I guess my question is: does it damage the laptop at all with this excessive static electricty on the palm rest? (i.e affecting the CPU or HDD?)
It shouldn't, but I just want to make sure. :)
