Does anyone know a good website to buy a hd for my Sony FE-890? I am looking for a 7200 rpm 100gb hard drive. I already checked out newegg.com and I was wondering if there were any other good websites. Thanks.

The best price to get the Seagate 100GB 7200rpm HDD is probably at newegg as they have it for $119.99 + $5.29 shipping! The Hitachi is also being offered for sale at newegg for the same price as well.

Yea I've been looking all over the place. I'm not sure if it is rare or something, but for laptops 7200rpm is not really popular especially in laptops. I went to Frys and they only sold 5400rpms.

It is because places like Fry's don't sell OEM HDDs but retail HDDs & it is not helped by the fact that the 7200rpm HDDs for laptops are mainly released as OEM HDDs...

Maybe you can try Froogle.com for comparative shopping?

My bad then & I'm offering my apologies as well. I don't mean to mislead anyone else because I thought that they don't sell them as my local Fry's doesn't sell OEM laptop HDDs...
