Does anyone know where I can purchase an adapter to connect the s-video cable to the TV?

What are you adapting to and from?, If you want s-video to RCA (the small yellow plug) then the majority of electronics stores sell them and theirs always ebay, I picked up one for like $2 on ebay

well the sony sz series doesn't have s-video port, so that's a problem.

okay, Does it have VGA out? you can buy a cheap one for 4 or 5 dollars its just called VGA to RCA. There are better quality ones that are about 50$ to. Just remember you get what you pay for.

The cheap $5 ones won't work. Those are simple pin converters that require the video card in question to output an actual S-Video signal on a few normally unused VGA pins, and the SZ doesn't do that. You'll need an "active" converter (the $50+ ones) to actually convert VGA to NTSC.

thanks guy...i'll give it a shot. If it doesn't work, I can always return it.
