    There is a deal right now for a TZ290EAB for $1,500, but when I click on the link, it takes me to the Sony Outlet part of the website, so I can't tell if this is a clearance or a refurbished model (or new?) - I tried doing a manual search from scratch to see if I can find this particular model to figure it out, but it's not showing up. Can anyone tell me if this is a refurbished or clearance item? (or other?)

    is it kind of strange that the model is a TZ290EA? I tried doing a search on the notebookreview forums and google (both "tz290" and "tz290ea") and there's nothing really about the laptop besides the fact that there's currently a deal on it...? :confused: none of the other TZ models have a "EA" at the end also.... :confused:

    I did a filter between "Clearance" and "Refurbished". The TZ is listed as "Clearance":
