I just ordered my SZ-780 and made the mistake of including the WWAN access for an additional $99. As everyone here already knows, Sony customer service sux and my attempt at changing my order three days after submitting was met with the old "you'll have to return your order when it arrives (on feb 4!) and then reorder".
In any case, I was doing searches on Sprint's mobile broadband and stumbled upon Millenicom, which is a Sprint reseller that offers the exact same service for $10 less and no obligation to sign on for the 2-year contract.
questions:
1) Am I correct in assuming that my sprint-enabled notebook will likewise be compatible with Millenicom?
2) Does anyone here have any experience with Millenicom?
Thanks in advance

Yes, when you order Milenicom wireless broadband you will get the Franklin CDU-680 modem which is really great. It Flips up and gets out of the way unlike the Sprint U727 modem which sticks straight out. Also the Franklin modem comes with the software files already on the modem so you can walk up to any other computer either PC or Mac, install the software and be up and running in a couple of minutes, you don't have to have a disc. Milenicom uses Sprint wireless broadband just as if you were getting it directly from Sprint.
