Alot of Sony laptops come with either X-Brite screen or X Black screen, is there an actual difference between them?
for example on sony US for CW series is says X Black screen same for the SONY UK site, but on the Canada Sony site it says X Brite ECO screen
now ive heard that sony's eco screen arent that great, but sony us and uk have no mention of eco anywhere, is this something to be worried about?

XBLACK usually better brightness , maybe this help: http://www.vaiopro.sony-europe.com/showcase/en/xblack/.
XBRITE ECO is single lamp ccfl backlight, glossy screen.

sorry im kinda not sure about XBLACK but its confirm for XBRITE ECO.
there are many naming given to lcd grade by sony lately.. in my country they introduce term "VAIO Display" and "VAIO Display Premium" for new lineup (CW, X).. more term to add i guess but in fact its refering to old XBRITE term.
