anybody able to reinstall smartwi utility?

recently my smartwi utility wasn't responding properly. normally i would have wifi switch on and use the program to turn wifi on or off. but recently i wasn't able to do that. when trying the error message popped up saying," please turn on wireless hardware and try again." even with the wireless hardware switched to on the program still gives that error message.

recently tried uninstalling the program then reinstalling. but i still get that message. any recommendations on what i should do?

Exit the program ( right lick the icon in systen tray and choose Exit), go to C:\Program Files\Sony\Wireless Switch Setting Utility, run the witcher program. It should show boxes for;WWan, Blue tooth, and WLan...good luck

when using that method

later comes an error message. it sometimes pop up whenever i'm doing something else. i think this is also the cause of the blue screens i've been getting.

when smartwi is uninstalled is there a folder that's left behind? i think this may be the reason why my program isn't responding as you can see i have 2 copies of it. but i think 1 of them is due to system restore which i performed earlier and didn't work.
