So, has anybody managed to get their SZ's space bar repaired, yet? either by sony sending a replacement spacebar or returning the SZ to sony for them to replace it. If you've bothered to return it, how long was it before you got it back?

Also, has anybody modified it themselves to fix it? If so, how?

    Mine was never a problem, and I've had a 120 and a 160.

I doubt it can be fixed, this is a design issue.

There's only one contact for the space bar (right in the middle) rather than the usual two.

I did manage to make it a little better. I removed the spacebar, put some tape on the contact to make the spacebar more sensitive, and put the spacebar back. Now at least the extreme right side of the spacebar works when I press on it.

It all depends on how you press the key, cause as with how it's designed they all suffer this issue.
