just bought the tz sony and after opening it and looking at the cover i noticed some bumps on the sides which is over spray. or airbubbles. it can not be rubed out.
anyone have this problem before?
anyone think sony will exchange it?

My Sony SZ650 looks fine, I would think they would as long as it isn't a refurbished system.
BTW I also don't remember seeing anything wrong with my SZ320's paint job. -

i used the 3 onths no interest thing. the website say it can not be returned to the store. -
my SZ is fine....but I have a Carbon Fibre one and I dont think they get painted...

i got the painted over carbon fiber from sony since they only have black and gold. i can see it faintly

This is kind of common. Back in the day my S260 had a bad paint job. Recently (a year ago) a TXN27 had a air bubble on the palmrest.
The catch was that, since I've swapped 3 TXNs to get to a screen I can live with, I didn't want to return it to amazon for yet another TXN that might have a worse screen than the laptop with the air bubble, so I've sent it in to Sony Repair Center. They've replaced the palmrest, no questions asked. -
when the fixed it for you. did they give you a refurbished laptop?
