The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i had to give it up when my hard drive failed during my trip to china. it was such a stylish and well built laptop. i personally think it looks better than the new SZ series but not sure if SZ were supposed replace them. i've been trying to look for a new z1's on ebay but no luck although i did come across one last august (which someone else snatched it with buy now feature before me). anyone else think z1 was one of the best notebooks made by sony? :D
