What is this process? It's in my startup tab in msconfig. It has a locaiton in the VAIO Wireless Wizard folder...but I never used that before. Anybody have any idea if this is necessary to have? I can't test a wireless connection right now so...any help?

I have that running myself.... I'm not really sure what it does either.

It must have something to do with Wireless, but I don't use the smartwi thing or whatever it is.

I really don't know what it is, but I've been curious myself.

I already established it was a wireless related program...But my question was was if it was a necessary .exe to have running to use wireless at all...or is it just some added stuff that's not even needed?

probably not needed... i'll take my chances and disable for now till i can test it near wireless hotspots (I'm in the forest right now so all ihave is one connection..)

well the name says it all, setup wizard, so it's probably not needed. I am sure you can always run it from start later if you need it. or it might appear again when you reboot or turn on the laptop.
