    Hi all,

I have problem with my VAIO, even I shut down or hibernate, it's battery is still drained. It drops to 0% in about 2 weeks.
Please help, thanks for any advise.

Yeah, you would expect some loss, but when the machine is off, the battery should not be dead in 2 weeks. I'd probably contact support on this.

You don't say anything about how old your battery is, or how many charge cycles, etc. It sounds like it's just a dead battery. It can be from age or it can be from too many deep discharges.

If you use your lappy on battery power, do you have normal battery life? If no, then you need a new battery. If yes, you probably have some kind of short.
