    battery interchangable between s and sz?

    Can I keep my ext battery from my s360 notebook for the sz series? The model # look the same...

    do you have a bps2 or a bps2c battery?
    i own an generic bpl2 and it works with my sz but officially you can only use bps2c battery on a vaio sz. At first sight, it is the same voltage but i dont know if there are others parameters

    Well not this makes sense now that I have the notebook. The "C" stands for Carbon color. I noticed that that's all that seems different is the exture and color.

    Update: Compairing the vgp-bps2c and none c models: the upped the mAh from 4800 to 5200. Hmm I wonder what the difference is in the ext battery.

    Oh those that remember battery rattles...they added foam pad.

    Ok, for all interested - the batteries ARE interchangeable between the S and the SZ series. I have an S560 and SZ160, and I switched the batteries between the two and both have been working fine all day.
