The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    beginnewrs problem

    I just bought my first laptop sony vaio, week ago, and i installed couple programs... acronis true image 11.0,
    NOVAbackup... etc. I did backup with acronis and put backup file on USB external hard disk. When i put Acronis cd to boot, I tried to use external mouse, but I couldn`t... doesn`t work. Internal laptop mouse works fine, and I* continue with acronis, but i cannot see my external usb hard disk, it is not there... but it is attached 1000%.

    One problem more... when I use on booting cd NOVA recovery it works, till i should use internal mouse... but internal mouse doesn`t work at all.

    With deskop computers I didnt had these problems...

    Anybody know how to solve this...???
