What kinda 3dmark06/ 3dvantage scores are people able to get with there z11/12/13? What kinda temps also while gaming? What about futuremark, what kinda temps are we seeing post? Does any one use a cooler with there sonys? Lastly how much battery does the i7 620 eat up compared to the others? How long can you game on battery also? Thanks for answering any questions I have brought up. I realize all these have been thoroughly gone over but Id like to know some more opinions of others, thanks!

Id also like to know if there is going to be any ati 6xxx cards ever in sony's z line or a new geforce 4xx card or any video card for that matter.

I believe the Z line will exclusively use Nvidia parts, unless otherwise announced. But an upgrade in the future to a 4xx series card is inevitable. Also, I believe the GT330m gets about 5900 to 6500 in 3dmark06 depending on the OC.

A demanding game with a full charged standard battery not more than an hour - you can play minesweeper for about 4-5 hours depending on your display brightness.

Interesting only an hour..I want to be able to game on the go, I thought it might be some where near the m11x even though it uses a ulv processor.

Even the M11x gets poor battery life with the discrete graphics (GT335m) enabled. The M11x gets it's battery life from Optimus and the Intel HD/4500MHD, depending on which revision it is. Where the Z has a more powerful processor, it also has a less powerful graphics card by a good bit. The M11x has a less powerful processor, but a much more powerful discrete card. So they kinda balance each other.

Battery gaming? No clue, but I guess around one hour could be right.

So far, brightness and GT330m are a good combination to drain battery fast.

The alienware m11x has a very dim screen (and smaller and crappy and...) and although the gt335m is worth envying, its ULV processors are not.

So if you only want it for gaming, the alienware sounds like a wiser purchase: half the cost!

Although overall, the m11x is no match to the vaio Z, neither it is its price.
