don't know why Sony can't fix their audio issues with the S series at least.

they can't update their drivers worth Crap

if you want the current sony released drivers you need to download the VPCZ series that is 6.0.1.6015 which is newer than the ones from the S Series drivers 6.0.1.5992

    ---------------------------

    or go right to realtek

    http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...iteID=3&DownTypeID=3&DownID=10&PFid=24&Conn=3

    and they have 6.0.1.6069

I have installed these and I dont get the static crackle while watching a movie now and multitasking when the cpu spikes.

I am so happy now. so if anyone else gets the crackle I recommend at least the genuine realtek.

I just updated the driver via device manager after I extracted the drivers from the zip into a folder.
