Hi, i just brought a sony 43Gn. From switching between the two modes, i found that for the stamina mode my windows pic shrinks. so it's not in full size screen anymore. When i switch back to speed mode, it disappears and it's full size screen again. Is this normal? Is it only doing this to save battery??
    Please help!

    tnkx

Sounds like you are correct. It is using power saving features when you are switching modes. You should he able to use your power management tools on your os to change that one setting to be same across all modes.

I think you might need the Intel vga drivers. On speed mode, ATI's drivers are working fine but when switching to stamina there's a problem. Sounds like the problem is from Intel's GMA.

    Good Luck.

After installing the Vista Express Upgrade on my machine, switching over to the integrated graphics card also showed the screen at something like 800x600 resolution, centered. I just changed the display resolution back to full screen 1280x800, and on subsequent bootups didn't have any problems.

I got one question, does the switch mode automaticaly change our power plan setting? In my case, when I swith from Speed to Stamina (and vice versa) my power plan stay the same, no any change. I must change my power plan manually.
I mean, when i'm in Speed mode and the power plan is set Vaio Maximum battery, I got some problem in playing games, but when change to the High performance, the game is very smooth?? (same problem if i'm stamina mode?).

Do everybody have the same problem and how can I fix it?

    Thx
