    i've noticed that a lot of people are talking about re-formatting their sony vaios, is this because of excessive bloatware? i'm thinking about getting a vaio from the fe series but i'm not keen on re-formatting, would i need my own xp disc for that? :confused:

    for a clean install yes. the bloatware is actually fairly useful, some burning programs, mp3 players editing software, etc...
