    hi
umm.. starting from my second day of my FE use
my windows started to crash and show me the deadly blue screen... (only happens when booting up)
and I can't read a thing on that blue screen either because
it comes out all messed up
like.. all the letters are broken and resolution is messed up.. (looks like smaller resolution than 640x***)

sometimes my computer boots up fine and sometimes I have to try 3-4 time until my computer starts fine

this had happened like 8 times...
I tried booting up somewhere around 20 times including those blue screen issues...
(so ever since I got my FE ... tried booting up 20 times.. and out of that 20 times... out 8 times it crashed)

does anyone have problem? (probably not...)
do you think it's software problem?
or hardware problem? (this worries me if this is the case!)
I think it's mainly the software problem but...
does anyone know a place where I can show people the error message and get help
(you know i'm not that good with computers and i have no idea what this message is saying... like BFFFF B000032 that kind of stuff..)

thank you for any help in advance...

Did you try a clean install? I would return it to factory settings and see if it is still happening.

I heard it was Norton that caused all of the poroblems. Try to uninstall it and if that desn't work do a full system recovery.
Sony really screwed up on the software this time...

I heard it's rather normal for Sony to include alot of bloatware. I also find this quite annoying.

I had problems with the Norton install on the SZ. Called Symantec and they recommended completely uninstalling and buying the retail version for installation. I did uninstall it and bought another antivirus/firewall software. No problem since. I don't know if this is a Sony mess or a Symantec mess.

Heh, I've had that before, with PerfectDisk I think it was. "Um, yeah, the demo's broken but the $$$ version is fine". Sure...

I installed AVG Free and Windows Defender - no issues at all.

Look for a poll in the general forum (I think), where people rated their fav anti virus software. you can get lots of usefull suggestions there. norton came up at the bottom...
