To start with nice site glad I found it. I have a Sony FZI80U/B laptop where can I get bluetooth software so I can run a wireless mouse. I am surprised It didn't come with bluetooth. Thanks everyone!

If you have the bluetooth hardware you should also have the bluetooth software.

He means if your laptop shipped with Bluetooth hardware built-in. Bluetooth isn't a software-only solution -- you've got to have the BT radio transceiver, just like you'd have to have a wireless network adapter to connect to a hotspot. Not all laptop models ship with BT support.

So if your laptop came with BT, it would include the software/drivers. If it did not, then you will have to either buy a mouse that includes a BT transceiver, or buy a separate transceiver in addition to the mouse. In either case, drivers should be included.

However you do realize that you don't need Bluetooth to run a wireless mouse, right? The majority of wireless mice use their own wireless USB dongle, and not BT. Personally I recommend the Logitech VX Nano. It's an excellent mouse (as is usual for Logitech) and the tiny USB dongle can be left installed permanently, as there is no danger of it breaking off. I bought one for my new AR670 and love it -- it's my 3rd Logitech laptop wireless mouse (I've bought one for every laptop I've had in the past 2+ years). :)

Most of the user reviews I've read on bluetooth mice are not good.

No particular reason to get one because the RF mice work fine.
