Since I received a couple of weeks ago my new FZ4000 with an internal bluetooth adapter, the bluetooth adapter disappears and indicates error code 43 in device manager after I suspend and resume. The symptoms are described exactly in Microsoft's KB948643. If I reboot, everything goes back to normal.
I have already done as follows :
a. reinstalled original bluetooth drivers
b. reinstalled power management utility
c. reset BIOS
d. tried to use the generic microsoft bluetooth adapter instead of the originally supplied
e. turned off the power saving options in the adapter properties
f. installed microsoft's patches regarding kb945518 and kb948643
Everything has failed but strangely, this solutions did not fail immediately as I would have expected, they worked a couple of times and then failed.
I cannot restore to an earlier point because there is not earlier point to go back to and doing a complete system recovery would render no benefit since the recovery disks have been created from my notebook and this has been happening since arrival. It does not seem to be a hardware problem, so I am reluctant to send the notebook in for repair (the adapter works fine when it exists).
Help, ideas are welcome !!!
