i apologize if this has already been said before.
but i recently uninstalled the 'toshiba bluetooth usb controller driver' on accident.

i thought the sony esupport page would be the best place for the driver,
but after multiple failed attempts, i did a little research and found that
the most recent driver is actually on the european toshiba support page:

    http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/pages/download.php

the correct driver (for my model, SZ330P/B, at least) is version 4.20.01 at the very top, NOT the 4.00.36 version on the sony page.

so far, the download from the toshiba site is working ok (*crossing fingers*).
BUT unfortunately, it is telling me that it is merely an evaluation copy for 30 days??? i really do not want to do a system restore...

will sony update their support page?!

hope this helps prevent any anxiety/stress with other owners.

I also experience the same problem, but i did a fresh install of XP and i tried to install the BT driver from sony's site, but at the end of the installation it simply stops and i can't complete the installation. and like you wrote, if i use the ones from toshiba, i get the 30 day...

    does anyone have a solution?

The correct drivers can be installed from the sony restore utility (There's an option to just restore selected applications/drivers).

I would use the windows generic drivers and interface program. Because it's easier to use and it doesn't crash.

Everytime I click to connect to my mouse and I am prompted to turn on the device and click ok, I must actually click ok. If I press enter, it will give me the blue screen of death. If I click it, it will connect fine.
